Baby Schweers

Time keeps on ticking, ticking, ticking…..into the future.  Those lines just came to me. Somebody should probably use those in a song or something.

 Well, another Schweers update.

We started off the month with an extended weekend trip to Branson.  Eisley enjoyed the Shanghai Circus but felt that the 12 Tenors were a little lame.  It was beautiful weather and scenery and it was nice to have some down time for all of us.

Thanksgiving was a major event in this month for our family.  The Tuttles helped to make it even more enjoyable as they got a lot of the nieces and nephews together for a Good Ol’ Time. It was great to see all of Jami’s brothers and their families and some cousins too.  Eisley got her first horse ride. Yes, those are minature horses and not ponies.  Don’t ask what the difference is.  We got out of Thanksgiving without losing too much sanity but there were several sightings of a mysterious Creature around the Tuttle Ranch.  Luckily, Eisley is too young to know what was going on during those frightening days and nights.  The mystery still remains.

Eisley has been working hard on her homework from the pediatrician.  Aunt Steph has almost got Eisley to wave, which is rather cute to watch.  Eisley is now a roll over Queen and has been reported to roll from back to stomach too.  Still not hip on the whole crawling thing, but we are seeing some rocking and some arm swimming.  She is able to recognize and react more to mom and dad entering and leaving but is very content to go to others.  We hope to keep that flexibility up by pawning her off on people as much as possible.  :) She is a very sweet girl and is great at giving me energy when I am tired.

Mom and Dad continue to make baby step advances on the condo. We have the cabinets all put together and most of the drywall done. Now, we just need to get them placed and put up. Oh yeah, and the flooring, some plumbing, buy some appliances, finish Eisley’s room and then start on the bathrooms.  Good thing this is the slow time of year eh? (note: sarcasm should be noted in previous statement)

God continues to bless our household and those we hold dear.  This has been an amazing season in our lives and we just thank Him each day for the blessings that surround us constantly.  Jami and I never thought we could love something as much as we do our little girl but we are finding new depths each day. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
