ER SCARE!!! May 19, 2007

 

That’s right the Schweers made their first family visit to the ER.  Can you believe that is wasn’t even for Eisley?  If you haven’t heard yet, momma Schweers dropped a knife last week and it landed right on the tendon of her big toe. Ouch!! She had surgery later in the week to help repair it.  My mom and Jami’s mom have both been out to help fill the gap.  Thanks a million!!

Other highlights include: bath time, finding her thumb, time with grandma’s and of course her first soccer ball!!

One Month Down!! May 2, 2007

 

Mom and dad have had a wonderful first month with little Eisley.  She continues to grow and capture our hearts each day.

Our 2 week doctor’s visit had Eisley up to 9 pounds and 6 ounces and measuring 22 inches.  We are pretty sure she is a keeper!!  Other than a little gas, and a little belly button inflammation, she has been in good health and spirit.   

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit the last part of April.  Uncle Chance also came to visit and accompany Molly Dolly on the plane.  To make sure she is all woman, there have been a few shopping trips during this visit.  She has done a good job sleeping through most of it though.  Of course, there have also been a few photo shoots………………she is still practicing her runway looks though. 

 A small sleeping, eating and napping schedule is emerging which has enabled mom and dad to have a little more sense of normalcy.  Jami has even had a chance to do some work from home.  Poppa is already looking forward to summer where he can spend more time with family.

 Folks have really been awesome as they have showered our little family with meals, thoughts, prayers and love. Thanks to everyone!!
